Brigitte Bardot - BB - was an actress, singer, model, and the human face of the sexual revolution from the 1950s to the 1970s. Sexually liberated, hedonistic, impossible to ignore. She didn't play those characters. She embodied them.

She walked away from the entertainment industry in 1973. She then spent the decades fighting for animal rights with the same intensity she brought to everything else.

When she married, she refused white. She wore a pink Vichy-print dress with an English lace Peter Pan collar.
