The Unstoppable Collection

Amantine Lucile Aurore Dupin de Francueil. She went by George Sand.
Because in 1832, a woman's name on a novel was a ceiling, not a signature.

Indiana, her breakthrough, was a direct attack on the law that chained an unhappy woman to her husband. It made her famous. The name fooled no one for long.

She also happened to love Mérimée, Musset and Chopin.

History remembered the novels. History remembered the men.
